A law firm is seeking a Litigating Personal Injury Attorney for their office located in Jacksonville, FL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of Personal Injury cases, from evaluation to settlement, and possess strong leadership skills to guide a legal team effectively.

Job Overview:

  • Manage Personal Injury cases from inception to resolution
  • Provide legal counsel and guidance to clients
  • Conduct medical reviews and negotiate settlements
  • Handle a large caseload with effective leadership
  • Create litigation plans and conduct discovery
  • Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish) is a plus

Duties:

  • Evaluate the merits of Personal Injury cases
  • Communicate effectively with clients
  • Negotiate and settle cases as necessary
  • Handle medical reviews and documentation
  • Create mitigation plans for each case
  • Conduct discovery and gather evidence
  • Open new files and manage case documentation
  • Interact with clients during their time of need

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of Personal Injury Litigation Attorney experience
  • Firm understanding of Florida Personal Injury law
  • Trial experience is a plus
  • Leadership skills to build and manage a legal team
  • Determination to achieve the best results for clients

Education & Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
  • Admitted to the Florida State Bar

Skills:

  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Ability to handle a large caseload effectively
  • Leadership skills to manage a legal team
  • Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish) is a plus
