Job Overview:

A reputable Los Angeles law firm is seeking a dedicated Employment Law Intake Attorney. This full-time position focuses on assisting with client intake for employment law cases, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and disability claims. The ideal candidate should be experienced in employment law, demonstrate excellent communication skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment that values collaboration and client service.

Duties:

• Coordinate closely with the intake department to manage potential client cases.
• Conduct interviews with prospective clients to assess case viability.
• Report intake summaries to the Employment Law team.
• Assist with legal research, drafting motions, and other related legal tasks.
• Collaborate with legal assistants, other attorneys, and intake team members.

Requirements:

• Active California State Bar membership in good standing.
• At least 1 year of litigation experience in employment law.
• Experience handling FEHA discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and disability-related cases.
• Previous experience in client-facing roles, preferably in legal settings.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple clients simultaneously.

Education:

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited institution.

Certifications:

• California State Bar License (required).

Skills:

• Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• High level of organization and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Effective oral and written communication skills, with a client-focused approach.
