Mid-level Corporate Associate Attorney

A law firm in Dallas, TX, is actively seeking a Mid-level Corporate Associate Attorney to join the private equity group. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of broad corporate experience, including familiarity with private credit and mezzanine debt. Experience with Small Business Investment Company (SBIC) funds is preferred, and candidates must be admitted to the Texas State Bar.

Duties

• Private Equity Focus: Join the private equity group, contributing to various aspects of private equity transactions.
• Corporate Transactions: Manage and assist in various corporate transactions, including private credit, mezzanine debt, and other related matters.
• SBIC Fund Experience: Apply knowledge and experience in working with SBIC funds, if applicable.
• Legal Consultation: Provide expert legal advice and support on corporate law matters.
• Transaction Oversight: Oversee various aspects of transactions, ensuring compliance and efficiency.

Requirements

• Experience: Ideally, 5+ years of broad corporate experience.
• Private Equity Background: Familiarity with private credit and mezzanine debt transactions.
• SBIC Funds: Experience with SBIC funds is preferred.
• License: Admission to the Texas State Bar.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.): Degree from an accredited law school.
