Job Overview: A law firm in Dallas, TX, is seeking a Senior Business Transactions Attorney to manage business, transactional, and corporate matters. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in various corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, private placements of securities, entity formation, investment funds, and corporate governance.

Job Duties:

• Draft and negotiate a diverse array of commercial contracts and agreements.
• Oversee and conduct legal due diligence for corporate transactions.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to corporate associates and paralegals.
• Work independently and delegate tasks effectively to associates and paralegals.
• Ensure compliance with all aspects of corporate law.

Requirements:

• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in corporate law.
• J.D. degree and Texas Bar Admittance.
• Expertise in mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, private placements of securities, entity formation, investment funds, and corporate governance.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Genuine, authentic personality with confidence in dealing with clients and colleagues.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Outlook.

Education and Certifications:

• J.D. degree from an accredited law school.
• Texas Bar Admittance.
