Trust and Estates Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm in San Diego is seeking a Trust and Estates Litigation Associate Attorney with 1-3 years of experience. The ideal candidate must possess a strong work ethic and knowledge and experience in civil discovery and law-and-motion practice. Prior coursework or relevant hands-on experience in trusts and estates law is a plus.

Duties:

• Assist in all aspects of trust and estate litigation matters.
• Conduct legal research and analysis related to trust and estate law.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Prepare for and attend hearings, mediations, and depositions.
• Manage discovery, including drafting and responding to discovery requests.
• Communicate with clients and opposing counsel.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and execution.
• Perform case management and administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of experience in trust and estate litigation.
• Strong work ethic and dedication to delivering high-quality legal services.
• Knowledge and experience in civil discovery and law-and-motion practice.
• Familiarity with trust and estates law is preferred.
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the State Bar of California or eligibility for admission.
