Job Overview: A law firm in Cherry Hill, NJ, is seeking a Mid to Senior-Level Litigation Associate Attorney with 4-6 years of experience in corporate governance and/or securities litigation. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in derivative litigation, shareholder disputes, breach of fiduciary duty claims, and other corporate litigation issues, as well as a solid understanding of securities laws. Background or knowledge in regulatory or criminal enforcement organizations such as the SEC, CFTC, DOJ, USAO, District Attorney, or OAG is advantageous. Duties:

  • Handle a diverse caseload of complex litigation matters related to corporate governance and securities litigation.
  • Conducted legal research and drafted pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
  • Assist with all aspects of discovery, including drafting and responding to discovery requests, preparing witnesses, and conducting depositions.
  • Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on case strategy and client communication.
  • Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
  • Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on litigation matters.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in good standing with the New Jersey Bar Association.
  • 4-6 years of experience practicing law, focusing on corporate governance and/or securities litigation.
  • Proven track record of handling complex litigation matters independently.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Demonstrated commitment to delivering high-quality legal services and achieving successful outcomes for clients.

Education:
