Family Law Associate Attorney

A law firm in Houston, TX, is seeking a Family Law Associate Attorney with at least 1 year of experience. The candidate will represent clients in family law proceedings, draft legal documents, provide legal advice, negotiate settlements, and ensure compliance with legal standards and regulations.

Duties:

• Represent clients in family law proceedings, including divorce, child custody, and adoption cases
• Prepare and draft legal documents, such as petitions, pleadings, and agreements
• Advise clients on legal transactions and provide guidance on family law matters
• Negotiate settlements for legal disputes and advocate for clients' interests
• Ensure compliance with all legal standards and regulations
• Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of family law
• Utilize strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess cases and develop strategies
• Maintain familiarity with various legal documents and procedures

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in family law
• Licensed to practice law in Texas
• Familiarity with various legal documents and procedures

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
