A law firm in Denver, CO is seeking a Health Care Litigation Associate Attorney. The successful candidate will:

Job Overview:

  • Join a dynamic legal team in handling sophisticated healthcare litigation matters, particularly focusing on False Claims Act cases.
  • Interact directly with clients and government regulators, working on high-stakes litigation and investigations.

Duties:

  • Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other court documents for federal court cases.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys in case strategy development and implementation.
  • Engage in client consultations and maintain communication throughout the litigation process.
  • Assist in the preparation for hearings, trials, and depositions.
  • Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and case precedents related to healthcare litigation.

Requirements:

  • JD from an accredited law school.
  • Admittance to the bar in Colorado or eligibility for admission.
  • 2+ years of experience in health care litigation, with a focus on False Claims Act matters.
  • Prior experience working in a law firm or clerkship setting.
  • Strong academic credentials with a high level of achievement.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Federal clerkship experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in persuasive legal writing, particularly in federal court settings.
