Labor & Employment Associate

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a California licensed Labor & Employment Associate with 3-6 years of experience for its San Diego, CA office. The ideal candidate will handle a variety of employment issues, including litigation and advisory roles.

Duties

• Manage single-plaintiff employment litigation and class action/PAGA cases.
• Draft pleadings, discovery, and motions; argue motions in court.
• Take and defend depositions; conduct administrative hearings.
• Draft workplace policies and conduct employee trainings.
• Provide day-to-day advice and counsel to employers.

Requirements

• California Bar admission required.
• 3-6 years of relevant experience in labor and employment law.
• Experience in litigation, including drafting and arguing motions.
• Detail-oriented with excellent work ethic and communication skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active California Bar license.
