Workers Compensation Associate Attorney

A law firm in Atlanta, GA, is seeking a dedicated Worker’s Compensation Associate Attorney to join its team. The candidate will work in a team environment with several Legal Assistants, overseeing approximately 150 cases. They will be responsible for various tasks including writing demands, negotiating claims, responding to discovery, conducting depositions, and representing clients in court appearances. Strong research and writing skills, along with a commitment to jury trials and appeals, are essential.

Duties:

• Oversee approximately 150 worker’s compensation cases in collaboration with legal assistants.
• Write demands and negotiate claims on behalf of clients.
• Respond to discovery requests.
• Conduct depositions and represent clients in court appearances.
• Demonstrate strong research skills to support case strategies.
• Maintain top-quality writing skills with strong academic credentials.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an American Bar Association accredited law school.
• Georgia Bar license required.

Experience:

0-3 years of experience in worker’s compensation.

Certifications:

Georgia Bar license.
