A prestigious law firm is currently seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney for an Of Counsel or Partner role. This position offers an exciting opportunity for attorneys with a minimum of five years of litigation and trial experience to join a dynamic team. Duties:

• Manage and lead complex litigation cases through all stages of the process, from inception to trial.

• Represent clients in both state and federal court proceedings.

• Handle a variety of litigation matters, with a focus on construction law (preferred but not required).

• Serve as first chair during trials, with direct involvement in strategy, preparation, and execution.

• Provide guidance and leadership to junior attorneys and other legal staff.

• Collaborate with clients and senior partners to develop case strategies.

• Maintain strong professional relationships and business development within the firm.

• Ensure all case matters are progressing efficiently, with attention to deadlines and client expectations.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of litigation and trial experience.

• Significant experience handling complex cases, including trials and motions.

• First-chair trial experience is a strong plus.

• Experience with both state and federal court proceedings is required.

• Ability to supervise and lead teams remotely.

• Strong interest in assuming leadership responsibilities within the firm.

• Active admission to the bar in New York, in good standing.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

• Excellent academic credentials.

Certifications:

• Must be licensed to practice law in New York.

Skills:

• Strong oral and written communication skills.

• Superior legal research and analytical skills.

• Proven ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.

• Leadership skills and experience in mentoring junior attorneys.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
