Job Overview

A law firm seeks a midlevel litigation associate to join its team in New York, NY. The successful candidate will work within a dynamic environment, engaging in various practice areas including commercial litigation, white collar defense, and government investigations.

Duties

• Draft and argue complex motions.
• Propound and respond to discovery requests.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Assist in both jury and bench trials.
• Engage in case management and lead litigation efforts.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of commercial litigation experience in a mid-size to large law firm or equivalent trial experience.
• Experience with financial institutions is advantageous.
• Admitted to and in good standing with the New York Bar.

Education

• Strong academic credentials required.

Certifications

• New York Bar admission.
