A law firm is seeking an Innovation Attorney - E & I and Finance for its Menlo Park location. The candidate will support the Firm’s innovation efforts to enhance the delivery of legal services focusing on E&I and Finance business units. They will collaborate closely with the Global Head of Practice Innovation and various business unit leaders to streamline processes, leverage technology, and enhance client solutions.

 

Duties:

  • Develop and improve the use of practice content to streamline legal service delivery.
  • Support, coordinate, and lead projects to enhance client-facing solutions.
  • Oversee projects to streamline and improve the delivery of legal services.
  • Serve as a resource for practice resource questions and issues.
  • Vet, pilot, and support the onboarding of legal technology.
  • Support the development and delivery of training curriculum and knowledge sharing.
  • Integrate AI, including generative AI, into the practice of law.
  • Regularly evaluate the efficient delivery of legal services and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Educate legal professionals on practice content, client solutions, technology, and initiatives.
  • Communicate and consult with administrators, lawyers, paralegals, and staff.
  • Develop and maintain case studies and portal pages for business unit marketing and business development.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris doctorate (J.D.) from an accredited university or college.
  • Admission to practice in good standing in a US jurisdiction.
  • 4+ years of experience as an E&I attorney in a large law firm.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with technology for managing workflows, documents, and communications.
  • Understanding of knowledge management, practice/project management, and efficiency.
  • Enthusiasm about legal technology, including AI and generative AI.
  • Excellent analytical, project management, prioritization, and organization skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
