Associate Attorney needed for Salt Lake City office

A law firm in Salt Lake City, UT, is seeking an Associate Attorney to work directly with senior associates, draft legal documents, assist in litigation matters, perform legal research, and support day-to-day legal operations. The ideal candidate should have 0-5 years of experience, strong advocacy skills, and be licensed to practice law in Utah (Texas, Nevada, and California licenses desired).

Duties:

• Work directly with senior associates to draft legal documents and motions
• Handle litigation matters under senior attorney supervision
• Provide support to senior associates and firm owner
• Review and file court documents in a timely manner
• Ensure Attorney-Client confidentiality
• Advise clients on conflict resolutions
• Perform legal research and analysis
• Prepare and review transactional, employment, and real estate documents
• Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues

Requirements:

• Accredited Law Degree
• Utah State Bar License in good standing required (Texas, Nevada, and California licenses desired)
• 0-5 years of experience in a law firm or legal practice
• Experience in drafting and arguing motions, assisting in complex litigation matters, and handling all stages of discovery
• Strong oral and written advocacy skills
• Proficiency in legal research and analysis
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate practical ideas and solutions

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

Utah State Bar License (Texas, Nevada, and California licenses desired)
