Civil Litigation Attorney

A law firm is seeking a Civil Litigation Attorney with the following qualifications:

Job Overview: The Civil Litigation Attorney will be responsible for defending civil litigation cases in Nevada, requiring strong analytical skills, exceptional communication abilities, and the capacity to manage case files independently. The ideal candidate will possess trial experience and demonstrate an interest in client development and marketing.

Duties:

• Defend civil litigation cases in Nevada, utilizing exceptional research and writing skills.
• Independently manage case files, ensuring deadlines are met and clients are informed.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support litigation strategy.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal team members.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, including trials, as needed.
• Assist in marketing and client development initiatives.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5+ years of prior experience defending civil litigation cases in Nevada.
• Current license to practice law in the State of Utah.
• Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional research and writing abilities.
• Trial experience preferred.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Must be licensed to practice law in the State of Utah.
