A law firm in Cleveland, OH is seeking an Employment Litigation Associate Attorney with 4-7 years of experience. The ideal candidate must have prior experience in employment law and must be admitted in Ohio. This position involves handling various aspects of employment litigation, counseling clients on employment law challenges, and drafting/revising handbooks and policies.

 

Duties:

  • Draft and respond to pleadings in employment litigation cases.
  • Manage discovery process, including document production and depositions.
  • Draft and argue motions before the court.
  • Take and defend depositions.
  • Participate in mediations and trials.
  • Counsel clients on day-to-day employment law challenges.
  • Draft and revise employee handbooks and policies.
  • Conduct manager training sessions and similar activities.

 

Requirements:

  • 4-7 years of employment litigation experience for a litigation defense role.
  • Admission to the Ohio Bar.
  • Excellent academic credentials.
  • Strong writing and analytical skills.
