Mid-level Private Investment Funds Associate Attorney

A law firm in Chicago, IL is seeking a Mid-level Private Investment Funds Associate Attorney with 3-6 years of fund formation experience to join their team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in drafting and reviewing private offering materials and must be admitted to the State Bar.

Duties:

• Draft and review private offering materials for private investment funds.
• Provide legal advice on fund formation matters to private fund managers.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives and tailor legal solutions accordingly.
• Conduct legal research and stay updated on relevant laws and regulations impacting private investment funds.

Requirements:

• 3-6 years of experience in fund formation with private fund managers.
• Admitted to the State Bar.
• Strong understanding of securities laws and regulations.
• Excellent drafting and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

Admission to the State Bar.
