Private Client Associate

Job Overview:
A prominent national law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its Private Client practice in the Denver office. Location:

• Denver, Colorado

Duties:

• Provide legal counsel in estate planning, trust administration, and wealth transfer strategies

• Assist clients with tax planning, including transfer and income tax matters

• Draft wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and related estate planning documents

• Conduct legal research and analyze statutes, rulings, and regulations

• Work closely with individuals, families, and business entities to develop customized planning solutions

• Collaborate with team members on complex estate and business succession planning

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant legal experience

• Interest in building expertise in private client services, including trusts and estates and tax matters

• Strong client service orientation and commitment to relationship-building

• Ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously and meet deadlines

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the Colorado Bar or eligibility for admission on motion

Skills:

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities

• Excellent analytical and organizational skills

• Detail-oriented with a strategic mindset

• Ability to interpret complex financial and legal documents

• Familiarity with estate, tax, or corporate law is a plus
