A law firm is seeking a Litigation Of Counsel for their Dallas, TX office.

Job Overview: The Litigation Of Counsel will be responsible for providing comprehensive legal support in product liability and complex commercial litigation. They will utilize their extensive experience to deliver high-quality work products, effectively communicate with clients and colleagues, and meet all deadlines and expectations.

Job Duties:

  • Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.
  • Produce deliverables, answer phone calls, and reply to correspondence in an efficient and responsive manner.
  • Provide timely, accurate, and quality work products.
  • Successfully meet deadlines and expectations and perform work duties as required.
  • Foster positive work relationships.
  • Comply with all firm policies and practices.
  • Engage in both physical and sedentary activities, such as working at a computer for extended periods of time, participating in digital/virtual conference calls, and attending meetings as needed.
  • Perform all other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of litigation experience (preferably gained while practicing at an AmLaw 100 firm), with experience in product liability and/or complex commercial litigation.
  • A science background (MD, MPH, PharmD, Epidemiology) is required to be considered.
  • Superior research, analytical, and writing skills are highly preferred.
  • Experience with the pharmaceutical and medical device industry and clients is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including working independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team, are a must.
  • The ability to multi-task and prioritize is required.
  • Prefer candidates with immediately transferable skills and strong academic backgrounds from nationally recognized schools.
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail are critical to success.
  • J.D. degree.
  • Bar admission.
  • Direct and applicable AmLaw 100 law firm experience.

Education and Certifications:

  • J.D. degree.
  • TX Bar admission.
