Employment Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm in Torrance is seeking an Employment Litigation Associate Attorney with 3+ years of litigation experience, particularly in defending federal and state wage and hour cases, including collective and class actions. The ideal candidate will possess a Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school, be admitted to practice in California, and have significant experience handling investigations before various labor and human rights agencies. The role also requires expertise in appearing before the National Labor Relations Board and handling employment litigation in federal and state court.

Job Details:

• Handle investigations before the U.S. Department of Labor, California Department of Industrial Relations, California Division of Labor Standards Enforcement, EEOC, and other state and local human rights agencies.
• Appear before the National Labor Relations Board on matters related to union organizing, collective bargaining, unfair labor practices, union elections, and arbitrations.
• Handle employment litigation in federal and state court.
• Defend federal and state wage and hour cases, including collective and class actions.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of litigation experience in employment law.
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice in California.

Experience:

• Significant experience handling investigations before various labor and human rights agencies.
