Funds and Securities Attorney

A law firm in Clayton is seeking an experienced Funds and Securities Attorney with a focus on working with public companies, startups, founders, and venture capital firms. The ideal candidate will have expertise in company formation, corporate governance, securities law, angel investments, and venture capital financings.

Duties:

• Provide legal counsel on company formation and corporate governance matters.
• Handle securities law compliance for public companies and startups.
• Assist in angel investments and venture capital financings.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on relevant industry regulations.
• Draft and review legal documents, contracts, and agreements.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in securities and private investment fund formation.
• Strong academic credentials with a law degree from an accredited institution.
• Demonstrated experience working with public companies, startups, founders, and venture capital firms.
• Exceptional analytical and writing abilities.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with clients and team members.

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

Active license to practice law in the state.
