A law firm in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking an Associate Attorney with 2-5 years of experience to join their team. The ideal candidate must be licensed to practice in the State of Arizona and possess exceptional communication, writing, and research skills.

 

Duties:

  • Handle a caseload of 20-30 cases in family law, from inception to resolution.
  • Manage cases involving divorce, legal decision making, parenting time, child support, and other family law matters.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support client cases.
  • Prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Attend court hearings and represent clients in mediation and settlement negotiations.
  • Maintain communication with clients to provide updates and address concerns.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and support staff on complex cases.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced professional environment and multitask effectively.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar of Arizona.
  • 2-5 years of experience practicing law, with a preference for experience in family law.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage a high caseload and see cases from beginning to end.
  • Strong research skills and ability to analyze legal issues effectively.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Admission to the State Bar of Arizona.
