A law firm in Redwood City is seeking a Mid-level Financial Industry FinTech Associate Attorney experienced in regulatory counseling for consumer and small business financial products and services. The ideal candidate should possess 3-5 years of relevant experience, a background in regulatory practice, and an in-depth understanding of federal and state laws governing financial products and services.

Job Duties:

• Focus on regulatory counseling for a variety of financial products including credit types, deposits, payments, and alternative lending arrangements.
• Support enforcement, litigation, and transactional teams from a financial regulatory perspective.
• Provide expertise in federal and state laws and regulations governing financial products and services.
• Engage in legal research, prepare legal documents, and offer counsel on financial regulatory matters.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in regulatory practice within the financial industry.
• Deep knowledge of federal and state laws pertaining to financial products and services.
• Outstanding academic credentials and prior experience in a law firm setting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
