Job Overview

A law firm seeks a motivated Associate in Los Angeles, CA, to join their Executive Compensation, Employment & Benefits Practice. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of broad-based employment counseling experience, focusing on transactional work and client counseling.

Duties

• Provide labor and employment assistance in mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions.
• Offer expert advice and counseling to employers on all aspects of the employment relationship.
• Draft offer letters, employment agreements, independent contractor agreements, and separation agreements.
• Ensure alignment with client objectives and legal requirements in all drafted documents.

Requirements

• Minimum of two years of employment counseling experience.
• Experience in employment law with a focus on transactional work.
• Strong analytical, drafting, and communication skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admitted to practice law in the state of California.
