Litigation Attorney

A law firm in Walden, NY, is seeking a Litigation Attorney with 3-5 years of litigation practice experience. This role requires the ability to handle and manage litigation cases, including discovery, arbitration, mediation, motion practice, client coordination, briefs, and court appearances. Effective communication skills are crucial as this position involves direct client contact.

Duties:

• Handle and manage litigation cases from start to finish.
• Conduct discovery, arbitration, and mediation.
• Prepare and argue motions in court.
• Coordinate with clients throughout the legal process.
• Maintain excellent attorney-client relations.
• Conduct effective legal research and analysis.
• Build rapport with clients through excellent communication and advocacy.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of litigation practice experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and advocacy skills.
• Strong legal research and analytical skills.
• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
• Current license to practice in New York State.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and PerfectLaw is preferred.
