A law firm is seeking a Junior to Mid-level IP Associate Attorney to join their team.

Job Overview:

The ideal candidate will have 2 years of in-house or law firm patent prosecution experience and hold a degree in Chemical Engineering (B.S.), Chemistry (Ph.D.), and/or Organic Chemistry (Ph.D.). The candidate must be admitted to the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) with excellent academic credentials.

Duties:

  • Conduct patent prosecution, including drafting and prosecuting patent applications.
  • Provide legal advice and support on intellectual property matters.
  • Perform legal research and analysis related to patent issues.
  • Collaborate with clients and colleagues to develop and implement intellectual property strategies.

Requirements:

  • 2 years of in-house or law firm patent prosecution experience.
  • Degree in Chemical Engineering (B.S.), Chemistry (Ph.D.), and/or Organic Chemistry (Ph.D.).
  • Admission to the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
  • Excellent academic credentials.
