A law firm is seeking a Senior Private Equity Mergers and Acquisitions Associate Attorney to join their team in Wilmington, DE, focusing on supporting healthcare clients in their transactional needs. The candidate will be responsible for handling acquisitions of physician and dental practices and representing behavioral health providers.

Duties:

• Led and supported mergers and acquisitions transactions for private equity funds and healthcare clients, focusing on physician and dental practice acquisitions and representing behavioral health providers.
• Conduct legal research, due diligence, and analysis related to transactions.
• Draft and review transactional documents, including contracts, agreements, and other legal instruments.
• Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on transactional matters, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate successful transactions.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions transactions.
• Experience working with private equity funds and/or healthcare providers.
• Additional experience or a demonstrated interest in behavioral health is a plus.
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Delaware State Bar or eligibility for admission.
