Job Overview
A well-established law firm is seeking a motivated Associate Attorney with 1–3 years of experience to join its Education Law practice. Duties

• Conduct legal research and draft memos, briefs, and other legal documents

• Support litigation and advisory work in education and public sector matters

• Assist in special education cases, including administrative hearings (if applicable)

• Maintain regular communication with clients and relevant parties

• Analyze case law, statutes, and regulations to support legal arguments and client strategies

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience as a practicing attorney

• Prior exposure to public sector or education law preferred

• Ability to manage assignments independently and meet deadlines

• Demonstrated interest in education law and public service

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in the state of California
