A law firm in Washington, DC, is seeking an Attorney to manage and litigate their own caseload provided by the firm. The ideal candidate should possess strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively. The Attorney will be responsible for managing and litigating their own caseload, which will be provided by the firm. This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask efficiently to handle various legal matters simultaneously.

 

Duties:

  • Manage and litigate own caseload provided by the firm.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis.
  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Prepare for and attend court hearings, mediations, and arbitrations.
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
  • Participate in case strategy meetings with firm partners and colleagues.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and documentation.
  • Provide legal advice and guidance to clients.

 

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of legal experience.
  • Admission to the Bar in the District of Columbia.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong attention to accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Admission to the Bar in the District of Columbia.
