Senior Tax Advice and Controversy Associate Attorney

London office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks senior tax advice and controversy associate attorney with 4+ years of pqe. The candidate will be advising on all aspects of corporate tax. Will be working on a wide range of transactions and tax structuring, ensuring tax-efficient implementation and execution to meet client needs. Advising on structured real estate transactions; M&A, joint venture, and other corporate transactions. Funds: hedge and debt, real estate and other asset classes; international tax structures and cross-border transactions; structured (asset and Islamic) finance and capital markets; insolvency and restructuring; and relevant VAT and indirect tax issues. Should ideally be England and Wales qualification but appropriate legal qualification to enable the candidate to practice in the UK. Must have a broad range of corporate-tax experience at a City or large regional practice. Experience in real estate tax and taxation of corporate transactions is an advantage. Tax Experience could in addition include funds taxation; taxation of financial transactions; and tax accounting.
