A law firm is seeking a closing attorney for its Duluth, GA, location.

Job Overview:

The Closing Attorney will oversee residential and/or commercial real estate transactions, ensuring compliance with property law, finance regulations, and post-TRID residential real estate guidelines. The role involves client interaction and meticulous attention to detail throughout the closing process.

Duties:

  • Manage residential and/or commercial real estate transactions from start to finish.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of legal documents related to property transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant property laws, regulations, and finance requirements.
  • Interact with clients to address concerns, provide updates, and answer inquiries throughout the closing process.
  • Coordinate with lenders, real estate agents, and other parties to facilitate smooth transactions.
  • Handle any legal issues or disputes that may arise during the closing process.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of experience in closing residential and/or commercial real estate transactions.
  • Proficiency in property law, finance regulations, and post-TRID residential real estate guidelines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and other stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities to manage multiple transactions simultaneously.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar in Georgia.

Certifications (Preferred):

  • Certification in real estate law or related field.

Skills:

  • Excellent legal research and analytical skills.
