Senior Commercial Litigation Attorney

A law firm in San Jose, CA, is seeking a Senior Commercial Litigation Attorney with 8-10 years of experience. The candidate will have an immediate opportunity to handle substantial litigation matters, including employment litigation. The ideal candidate must have a proven track record in executing legal strategy, handling key litigation events, and advocating for clients. Duties:

• Take on substantial litigation matters immediately.
• Execute legal strategy, including motion practice, trial, arbitration, and hearings.
• Handle depositions and produce witnesses for depositions.
• Advocate for clients in various legal proceedings.
• Interface directly with attorneys and clients.
• Work independently and productively.
• Demonstrate exceptional written and oral communication skills.
• Make strong decisions and solve problems effectively.
• Manage internal and external deadlines.
• Develop and implement legal strategies, with a concentration on employment litigation.

Requirements:

8-10 years of experience in commercial litigation.

Law firm experience and previous client advocacy experience.

Some experience with employment litigation.

Concentration in employment litigation preferred.

Education:

Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

Admission to the California Bar.
