Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Projects & Energy Finance Associate in Raleigh, NC. This role involves working on energy transition financing matters, including internationally recognized projects. The associate will engage in novel financing deals within the energy transition space.

Duties

  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case preparation.
  • Draft well-reasoned legal documents, including briefs and contracts.
  • Assist in managing complex cases from inception to resolution.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through professional support.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative case strategies.

Requirements

  • Experience in financing and M&A of energy transition projects.
  • Proven experience in tax equity and renewable energy tax credit matters.

Education

  • JD degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Admitted to practice in the state of office location.
