A law firm is seeking a Mid-To-Senior Level IP Litigation Associate Attorney for their Winston Salem, NC, location.

Job Overview:

The ideal candidate will possess 3-6 years of IP Litigation experience, including briefing and motions practice, preparing for or taking depositions, working with experts, USPTO office proceedings, trademark searches, surveys, etc. Demonstrated experience in trademark/anti-counterfeiting matters is a plus. They must be licensed to practice law or have the ability to become licensed in NC. Superior client service skills, outstanding written and oral communication skills, excellent academic credentials, and strong organizational and analytical abilities are essential.

Duties:

  • Handle all IP litigation cases, including drafting pleadings, discovery, and motions.
  • Prepare for and participate in depositions, hearings, and trials.
  • Collaborate with experts and consultants as necessary.
  • Conduct trademark searches and surveys.
  • Manage USPTO office proceedings.

Requirements:

  • 3-6 years of IP Litigation experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in trademark/anti-counterfeiting matters (preferred).
  • Licensed to practice law or ability to become licensed in NC.
  • Superior client service skills.
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent academic credentials.
  • Strong organizational and analytical abilities.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Must be licensed to practice law.
