Job Title: Finance Corporate Debt – Associate Attorney

Job Overview:
A well-established law firm in New York City is currently seeking a highly skilled Finance Associate Attorney with 3-6 years of experience in syndicated lending, secured transactions, and other commercial finance transactions, including cash flow credit facilities. The ideal candidate will bring experience in the private debt space and demonstrate a strong academic background, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple transactions efficiently.

Duties:

• Handle a variety of finance transactions, focusing on syndicated lending, secured transactions, and cash flow credit facilities.

• Work directly with clients and senior partners to manage complex commercial finance matters.

• Draft, review, and negotiate loan documents and other commercial finance agreements.

• Guide on regulatory matters, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

• Participate in the development of strategic solutions for clients' financial needs.

Requirements:

• 3-6 years of relevant experience in finance law, particularly in syndicated lending and secured transactions.

• Strong academic credentials from a reputable law school.

• Proven ability to manage multiple transactions and meet tight deadlines.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively within a team.

• Experience in private debt transactions is highly preferred.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the New York State Bar (or eligibility to obtain admission) is required.
