A law firm in Jacksonville is seeking an Associate Attorney with 3 years of direct experience working with a managing partner in a fast-paced general business law practice. The ideal candidate will have experience managing mortgage and banking-related default cases, understanding various client systems associated with the mortgage industry, and overseeing client directives, issues, and inquiries.

 

Duties:

  • Manage mortgage and banking-related default cases, including uncontested foreclosures and evictions.
  • Understand various client systems associated with the mortgage industry, such as ICE/BKFS and Sagent/Tempo.
  • Oversee client directives, issues, and inquiries on a day-to-day basis.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis.
  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and correspondence.
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
  • Represent clients in court hearings and other legal proceedings.
  • Collaborate with managing partners and other attorneys on case strategy and resolution.
  • Maintain organized case files and documentation.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admitted to practice in the State of Florida.
  • 3 years of direct experience working with a managing partner in a fast-paced general business law practice.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent research abilities and written and oral communication skills.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Admitted to practice in the State of Florida.

 

Skills:

  • Experience managing mortgage and banking-related default cases.
