A law firm seeks a skilled Personal Injury Attorney for their Atlanta, GA, office. This position requires an experienced individual capable of handling various legal tasks in personal injury law.

Job Overview:

• Handle client communication effectively
• Conduct and defend depositions

Duties:

• Communicate with clients regarding case status and updates
• Take and defend depositions of witnesses and experts
• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents such as complaints, motions, and briefs
• Lead mediations and negotiate settlements with opposing counsel
• Develop comprehensive case strategies in collaboration with the legal team
• Represent clients in trial proceedings, including preparing witnesses, presenting evidence, and delivering arguments

Requirements:

• Minimum 5+ years of experience practicing personal injury law
• Licensed and in good standing with the Georgia State Bar
• Proven experience drafting and responding to motions
• Thorough knowledge of the Rules of Civil Procedure and Rules of Evidence

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the State Bar of Georgia
