Duties:

  • Manage overall case management for workers' compensation matters.
  • Conduct effective discovery to gather necessary evidence for litigation.
  • Evaluate medical records and legal reports according to American Medical Association Guides to Permanent Disability 5th Edition criteria.
  • Determine appropriate case value and draft settlement demands.
  • Negotiate settlements and provide recommendations to clients on legal issues related to their workers' compensation claims.
  • Represent clients at depositions, hearings, trials, appellate proceedings, and other legal proceedings.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience practicing law, preferably in workers' compensation.
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar of California.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the State Bar of California.

  • Strong understanding of workers' compensation laws and regulations.
