Trusts And Estates And/Or Business Transaction Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm seeks a highly skilled Trusts and Estates and/or Business Transaction Attorney to join their team in Morristown, NJ. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in corporate law, transactional work, and estate planning, with the ability to advise clients effectively on legal matters.

Job Duties:

• Prepare and draft contracts on behalf of corporate and individual clients
• Advise clients on business and legal transactions
• Meet with clients to discuss all aspects of estate planning
• Draft wills, trusts, and related planning documents
• Assist clients with the administration of simple and complex estates and trusts
• Utilize strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address legal issues
• Build rapport with clients to foster lasting professional relationships
• Provide excellent written and verbal communication in all client interactions

Requirements:

• Minimum 4+ years of experience in general corporate, transactional, real estate, and/or trusts and estates law
• Strong transaction and/or trusts and estates experience
• Business administration and accounting skills are advantageous
• Estate planning and administration or tax experience is a plus

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the Bar in New Jersey (or ability to become admitted)
