Job Overview: A law firm in Redwood City, CA, is seeking a skilled and experienced Real Estate Transactions and Finance Associate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, exchanges, leasing, financing, construction, development, joint ventures, secured loans, and workouts.

Duties:

  • Handle various real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, exchanges, ground leasing, commercial leasing, financing, construction, development, joint ventures, secured loans, and workouts.
  • Negotiate and draft closing purchase and sale agreements, commercial and ground leases, subleases, development agreements, construction contracts, property management agreements, and other real estate transaction documents.
  • Provide expertise in joint venture and project finance matters.
  • Conduct thorough research to support legal strategies and decisions.
  • Demonstrate excellent writing and communication skills in legal documents and correspondence.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of real estate transaction experience.
  • Membership in good standing with the California Bar.
  • Broad experience in negotiating and drafting various real estate transaction documents.
  • Proven ability to handle multiple, diverse projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team-oriented attitude with a strong emphasis on collaboration.
  • Effective and efficient problem-solving skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and proactively.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
