Biology Patent Agent

Boston office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks a biology patent agent with 2-5 years of experience in a law firm setting, with regular transactional experience in preparing patentability reports and preparing to prosecute patent applications and some exposure to due diligence, including freedom-to-operate studies, preferably in connection with small molecule therapeutics and immunotherapies (vaccines, therapeutic nucleic acid, and delivery mechanisms), and molecular diagnostics. The candidate should have an advanced degree in biological science, with a Ph.D. strongly preferred, and excellent academic credentials and communication skills. Registration with the U.S. Patent Office must have MA Bar membership.

This old Boston firm has remained a mid-sized regional player while other firms have elected to grow more dramatically in size.
