Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm in Las Vegas, NV, is seeking a talented and experienced Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney with 2-5 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in legal research and writing, demonstrating expertise in drafting briefs, complaints, pretrial motions, memoranda, and discovery requests. Superior analytical abilities, strong verbal and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment are essential. Preference will be given to candidates with judicial clerkship experience and Nevada Bar admission.

Duties:

• Conduct legal research and analysis to support litigation strategy.
• Draft legal documents, including briefs, complaints, pretrial motions, memoranda, and discovery requests.
• Collaborate with legal teams to develop effective case strategies.
• Communicate complex legal concepts clearly and persuasively, both in writing and verbally.
• Work in a team environment, fostering collaborative efforts on case matters.
• Perform tasks associated with case management, including attending hearings, trials, and depositions as needed.
• Stay current on relevant legal developments and case law.
• Assist in the preparation of legal arguments, applications, and appeals.
• Ensure compliance with legal standards and ethical practices.

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of experience in commercial litigation.
• Proven track record in legal research and writing.
• Strong analytical abilities.
• Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Judicial clerkship experience preferred.
• Nevada Bar admission preferred.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
