Duties:

  • Assist in drafting legal documents, including regulatory filings, memoranda, and client advisories.
  • Represent clients in derivatives-related matters, including enforcement actions and investigations.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to develop legal strategies and solutions.
  • Guide clients on compliance with derivatives regulations and best practices.

Requirements:

  • 3-6 years of experience in derivatives law, preferably in a law firm or regulatory agency.
  • Strong understanding of derivatives regulation, including the CEA, CFTC, and SRO rules.
  • Experience in derivatives enforcement and investigations.
  • JD degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the New York State Bar (or eligibility for admission by waiver).

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the New York State Bar (or eligibility for admission by waiver).
