A respected law firm in Raleigh, NC is seeking a skilled and experienced Family Law Attorney to join its growing practice. Duties:

• Conduct in-depth legal research on family law matters
• Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, orders, and discovery requests
• Assist senior attorneys with trial preparation and case management
• Communicate regularly with clients to ensure updates and provide legal guidance
• Maintain accurate and organized case files, following firm protocols
• Collaborate effectively with court staff, opposing counsel, and other relevant parties
• Represent clients in various proceedings including settlement negotiations, mediations, hearings, and trials

Requirements:

• Licensed to practice law in North Carolina
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in family law
• Strong proficiency in legal research and document drafting
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• In-depth knowledge of family law procedures and local court rules
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively
• Proven litigation experience with a capacity to advocate for clients in the courtroom
• Positive, professional attitude and strong interpersonal skills

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the North Carolina Bar
