Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Senior Family Law Attorney in Raleigh, NC. The ideal candidate will provide compassionate and strategic representation, managing complex cases from inception to resolution. This role requires strong litigation experience and excellent client-relations skills, serving as both an advocate and advisor within a dynamic legal environment.

Duties

  • Lead and manage complex family law cases independently.
  • Mentor and supervise associate attorneys.
  • Conduct client consultations and provide strategic legal advice.
  • Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, settlements, and agreements.
  • Manage hearings, mediations, and trials.

Requirements

  • J.D. and NC State Bar membership.
  • 6+ years of experience in family law, including complex cases.
  • Experience in civil litigation, including pleadings and trials.
  • Familiarity with Wake County court procedures and judges.
  • Proficient in CRMs, case management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in North Carolina.
