Associate Attorney

Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced Associate Attorney for its San Diego, California office. This full-time, hybrid position requires a highly motivated, detail-oriented individual with a strong background in employment law. The role involves working in the office at least two days per week, with flexibility for additional in-person days as needed.

Duties

• Independently manage all aspects of employment litigation for corporate clients.
• Conduct case analysis, strategy development, and oversight.
• Handle budgeting and case management tasks.
• Communicate proactively with team members and clients.
• Prepare pleadings, motions, and written discovery responses.
• Attend depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials.
• Advise clients on a variety of employment issues.

Requirements

• 4-8 years of substantive employment law experience.
• Admitted to the California Bar.
• Experience supervising junior attorneys is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• California Bar admission.
