A law firm in Los Angeles is currently seeking a Junior Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney with 1-3 years of experience. The ideal candidate must currently be clerking for a federal court judge (any level) or a state Supreme Court justice. The position requires outstanding written and oral communication skills, excellent references, and impressive academic credentials. Preferably, the candidate should possess immediately transferable skills, excellent client relationship and interpersonal skills, and a proven work history. Duties:

  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery.
  • Attend court hearings, depositions, and negotiations.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and client communication.
  • Maintain accurate and organized case files.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Currently clerking for a federal court judge (any level) or a state Supreme Court justice.
  • 1-3 years of experience in commercial litigation.
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent academic credentials.
  • Immediately transferable skills.
  • Strong client relationship and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven work history.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Admission to the State Bar in California or eligibility for admission.
