Job Overview: A law firm is seeking a Mid-Senior Energy Transactional Associate Attorney with 5-6 years of experience in Energy and Infrastructure transactions. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, along with experience in financing and/or private M&A transactions. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in project and energy financing and/or energy and infrastructure-related M&A transactions, as well as tax equity and/or IRA credit experience.

Duties:

  • Conduct legal research and provide analysis on energy and infrastructure transactions.
  • Draft and review transactional documents, including contracts, agreements, and financing documents.
  • Collaborate with clients and other attorneys to facilitate successful transactions.
  • Advise clients on legal matters related to energy and infrastructure projects.
  • Assist in due diligence processes for energy and infrastructure transactions.

Requirements:

  • 5-6 years of experience in Energy and Infrastructure transactions.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience in financing and/or private M&A transactions.
  • Preferably experience in project and energy financing and/or energy and infrastructure-related M&A transactions.
  • Preferably tax equity and/or IRA credit experience.

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the New York, District of Columbia Bar, or Texas Bar, active and in good standing.

Skills:

  • Legal research and analysis.
  • Drafting and reviewing transactional documents.
  • Client communication and relationship management.
  • Due diligence processes.
  • Energy and infrastructure law expertise.
