Public Agency Transactional Attorney

A law firm in the City of Industry, CA, is seeking a Public Agency Transactional Attorney with 2-5 years of experience in municipal, education, and/or general public agency law. The ideal candidate will provide legal counsel to cities, school districts, or similar public agencies, with expertise in code enforcement, public contracts, land use, real estate, CEQA issues, and general public agency contract review and compliance.

Duties:

• Provide legal counsel to cities, school districts, or similar public agencies
• Handle code enforcement and city prosecutor matters
• Ensure compliance with public contract code requirements
• Advise on land use, real estate, and CEQA issues
• Review and draft public agency contracts
• Ensure compliance with general public agency laws and regulations

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of experience in municipal, education, and/or general public agency law
• Demonstrated experience in public agency and municipal law

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of municipal, education, and public agency law
• Excellent legal research and writing skills
• Ability to provide sound legal counsel and advice
• Effective communication and negotiation skills
• Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
