Mid-level Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm in Minneapolis, MN, is seeking a Mid-Level Litigation Associate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of litigation experience, preferably gained at an AmLaw 100 firm, and a science background (MD, MPH, PharmD, Epidemiology). The primary responsibilities of this role include working closely with experts, assisting in fact development and depositions, drafting various legal documents, and contributing to case strategy. Superior research, analytical, and writing skills and experience in product liability and complex commercial litigation are essential.

Duties:

• Collaborate with experts to develop effective case strategies.
• Assist in fact development and deposition preparation.
• Review, analyze, and draft discovery responses, briefs, motions, and memoranda.
• Participate in case strategy discussions and planning sessions.
• Conduct legal research on relevant case law, statutes, and regulations.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of litigation experience, preferably at an AmLaw 100 firm.
• Experience in product liability and/or complex commercial litigation.
• Science background (MD, MPH, PharmD, Epidemiology) required.
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from a nationally recognized law school.
• Bar admission in the State of Minnesota.
• Direct and applicable experience working at an AmLaw 100 law firm.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from a nationally recognized law school.

Certifications:

• Bar admission in the State of Minnesota.
